Dan is the Sunshine Coast weight loss and muscle toning specialist and the Director of Activeliving The Wellness Company. Dan has 10 years experience in delivering fat busting programs and sculpting awesome physiques. His testimonials from clients speak for them self. Dan's results are long lasting as he emphasizes on fitness education, support and constant progression for lifestyle not just an occasion. Dan’s clients have been working with him in excess of 9 years and have become great advocates of his service.
Dan is actively involved in wellness presentations to corporate, community and charity organisations, as well as written publications to local newspapers and radio stations. Dan is passionate about developing community awareness in proactive health. Dan believes it is every health professional’s obligation to contribute to developing a growing awareness of proactive heath in the community.
Dan holds a 4th Dan black belt and has competed in numerous tournaments spanning over 15 years. His most significant accomplishment was winning the gold medal at the Iska world championships in 1999. Dan has a special interest in martial arts and incorporates a lot of his eastern philosophies in his coaching style.
When Dan is not doing the splits, Dan values his time with his family, walking his beloved dogs, the occasional adrenalin burst on his mountain bike, rock climbing, cross country running, and watching (these days) the game they play in heaven, rugby.
Dan started his education in fitness in 1997, first completing a diploma in fitness, a 2 year intensive program to become a personal trainer. Whilst practicing as a fitness professional he continued studies in human movement science with special interest in psychology and movement sociology. Since completion in 2001, Dan has partaken in numerous courses to be at the forefront of his industry and has worked with the best fitness and weight loss coaches in Australia. Dan invests relentless effort and time in achieving results for his clients, success is something he takes very seriously, he has a simple strategy he does not let you give up.
